Born from a deep spiritual realization and a lifelong legacy of local generosity, Dharma Seva Foundation is a grassroots humanitarian movement based in Howrah, West Bengal. Established in 2022, our mission is simple yet profound: to translate the timeless principles of Dharma into active, life-changing human aid.
We believe that true devotion to the Divine is best expressed through selfless service (Seva) to God’s creation.
A Community United in Service
What started as a humble initiative to distribute food on Tuesdays quickly gained momentum. Friends and locals saw the pure intent behind the drives and jumped in to help. Key members like Ranit Dhara and Rahul Manna stepped up, playing pivotal roles in keeping the weekly operations running smoothly.
And right there behind them, serving as the backbone and main pillar of support for the foundation, was Tarun (Bappa) Koley, bringing his years of experience and deep roots in Ward No. 22, Howrah Municipal Corporation to guide the young team.
Today, Dharma Seva Foundation is expanding faster than ever. We went from a small weekly food drive to a growing community, but we will never forget the roots that started it all: a father’s lifelong generosity, a son’s vision, and an unwavering commitment to serve humanity with love.
